QUALITY CONTROL ASSISTANT
Full-Time | Atlanta, GA | From $18.00 per hour
Role Summary
A Quality Control Assistant is a detail-oriented, hands-on role that helps unhold Anne Barge’s high standards across all products and collections. You’ll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and partner closely with our QC, Shipping and Production teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Visually and physically inspect bridal and evening gowns to ensure all production standards are met, including correct sizing, construction, and finishing.
- Perform basic garment corrections as needed (e.g., hand sewing repairs or reinforcements).
- Log and document gowns that have been reviewed, noting any irregularities or corrections.
- Communicate findings to the QC Coordinators and collaborate closely with the production team to uphold quality expectations.
- Steam, press, and prepare garments to meet presentation standards.
- Assist with unpacking, packing and general order-flow tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Meticulous attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Basic hand-sewing skills
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to lift/move boxes up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Trial Period
Employment begins with a two-week paid trial period. Completion of the trial does not guarantee continuation into a full-time position.
Schedule
Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

alterations specialist
Full-Time | New York, NY | From $25.00 per hour
Anne Barge NYC is seeking an experienced Alterations Specialist to join our growing team!
This individual will work closely with clients to assess alteration needs and must be experienced with high-end bridal fabrics and couture construction.
Role Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of sewing experience in a bridal alterations environment
- Proficient in working with high-end bridal fabrics
- Skilled in advanced sewing techniques and fine craftsmanship
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Ability to deliver an outstanding client experience
- Comfortable moving throughout the store to conduct fittings; must be able to lift up to 10 pounds, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, stand, and reach
- Confident using technology to track client alterations and process payments accurately
- Strong time management skills; must be able to self-direct workload, meet deadlines, and work efficiently
- Experience operating industrial sewing machines
Role Responsibilities
- Conduct bridal fittings at our flagship store
- Manage and execute all aspects of garment alterations, including bust, waist, hips, hemlines, and bustles
- Perform machine and hand sewing, draping, cutting, bustling, and pressing
- Ensure all garments meet our quality standards prior to delivery
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the alteration process, including handling service concerns, minor repairs, and urgent alteration requests when needed
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and manage the appointment schedule
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management

As part of the application process, we will request examples of alteration work you have completed independently. Initial interviews will be conducted by phone. If your application progresses, you will be invited to an in-person sewing test. Please note: Candidates will not be considered without completing the sewing test and providing work samples.
