On this Wedding Wednesday, we are excited to share details from a wedding in Washington State.  The couple, Brooke and Louis, met while working at Seattle’s Children’s Hospital and attending medical school at the University of Washington. For their wedding location, they chose the beautiful setting of Bainbridge Island in the San Juan Island archipelago.

The bride wore Amherst from the Anne Barge collection. The Amherst wedding gown has an elongated bodice of shirred tulle with a strapless neckline and voluminous pick-up skirt. The romantic details of the gown’s design perfectly suited the natural beauty of the island…And the bride in the gown takes our breath away.

The bride and groom incorporated several DIY details to their special day. From hand-made invites to using the hydrangeas from their parent’s yard in the bouquets, no detail was not personalized by the couple. We know you will enjoy these images from their wedding day as much as we do!

Actress Grace Kelly is renown for her impeccable elegance and sense of fashion. Her marriage to Prince Rainier of Monaco solidified her legendary status as not only Hollywood’s princess but a style icon for generations.

Grace Kelly’s classic style inspired the “Grace” wedding gown by Anne Barge. The dress has a cummerbund waist just as Princess Grace’s and is trimmed in French Alencon lace at the empire bodice and hemline. We are honored to share a few photos of real brides who wore the Grace gown for their own fairytale weddings.
Timeless beauty always shines!

For this Wedding Wednesday we visit the Windy City of Chicago. This week’s featured wedding exuded traditional elegance in every way. Who doesn’t love a classic ballroom wedding…especially when it is at the Ritz Carlton!

The couple, Michael and Jodi, made all of the wedding decisions together. This included a ‘first look, no look’ before the ceremony was to take place. The anticipation of first seeing each other was made all the more present upon the bride’s walk down the aisle where the couple recited self-written vows beneath the chuppah.

For the reception, the grand ballroom of the Ritz Carlton Chicago was decorated in vibrant tones of purples and greens with stately touches of gold. A cocktail hour for guests allowed family to take portraits before joining the reception. The bride in her style 617 wedding gown by Anne Barge looked radiant on her special day. Photographer Julia Franzosa beautifully captured the love of the couple as they celebrated with their union surrounded by those dearest to them. We hope to share some of that special love through this post ~ Enjoy! xo

This week we are pleased to share with you a wedding in the sunshine state – Florida! Kayln and William were married at John’s Island Club in Vero Beach FL. This destination was chosen by the couple as the perfect escape for friends and family fighting the chill of Chicago. The soft palette of muted grey with hints of cream lends a romantic mood to their wedding and allows the natural beauty of Florida to shine.

The bride wore “Rosamund” by Anne Barge — A mermaid silhouette of French Alencon lace over silk satin faced organza with a strapless neckline and banded skirt and scalloped hem details. Gorgeous!

Enjoy these picture perfect images by the talented Amalie Orrange Photography… Happy Wedding Wednesday!

Congratulations to Kayln + William!

We love #WeddingWednesday and this week we are thrilled to share a real wedding in Florida. Morgan and Alex were married in Coral Gables at the Westin Colonnade. The wedding party also enjoyed a pre-wedding photo session at The Biltmore in Miami. The January wedding was an elegant affair with romantic tones of blush pink and creamy whites.

The bride looked stunning in “Melody” from the Blue Willow Bride collection accented by an Anne Barge sash at the waist.

Styled photo shoots can be so inspiring and a recent post to the blog Grey Likes Weddings has us swooning. Citrus notes and a soft color palette makes this feature perfect for Spring. It is filled with peonies, cumquats, calligraphy, and candlelight… Yet the main highlight is Anne Barge’s BELOVED gown! Romantic and oh so feminine, Beloved shines in its classicism and dare we say subtle sexiness which would make any bride feel beautiful and her groom perfectly infatuated.

We are excited to share with you images not featured on the Grey Likes Weddings blog. We know you will enjoy them and find wedding inspiration to add to your day dreams…

Our feature for Wedding Wednesday is a beautiful bride in Anne Barge’s “Reilly” gown. Designed in an Italian Silk Mikado, the Reilly gown is a modern column silhouette with architectural lines and silk satin organza ruffle details. The bride’s veil was a remake with lace elements from her Mother’s veil. The wedding took place at Buena Vista in New Castle, Delaware. Hudson Nichols Photography captured the day perfectly. And the wedding was expertly planned by Lovely Girls Events.

The bride's sister made the Art Deco inspired wedding cake!

Congratulations to Laura + Kyle!

Today we are feeling dramatic yet romantic. The perfect mood to focus our fashion eye on Anne Barge style MAYFAIR. This wedding gown has a strapless pleated organza bodice with a mega floral textured skirt that makes a statement yet is ultra-feminine.

Cristina and Dan basked in the sunshine of Arizona for their wedding. The setting was the Paradise Valley Country Club inPhoenix. The bride chose a palette of coral and grey for their Spring nuptials. The bride and groom wanted their wedding to feel like a big dinner party with dancing, cocktails, and laughter. Wedding planner Outstanding Occasions helped them fulfill this dream.

Cristina found her Anne Barge “Hayley” gown during a trunk show at Marina Morrison in San Francisco. She looked absolutely beautiful on her special day!
