It is Wedding Wednesday ~ We admire those who serve in our military and the families who support them at home. This week we showcase a San Diego area bride whose groom is in the Navy.
A salute to the new Mr & Mrs.
Lighting of the unity candle
To tie in the groom’s Navy commitment, the bride and groom walked down the aisle together out of the church to the Pirates of the Caribbean theme song, “Skull and Crossbones”. Even the bride’s shoes had skulls on them!
Love these whimsical wedding shoes!
Hayley gown with Lanier Belt
The bride wore La Fleur collection gown: Hayley. A fit and flare silhouette designed in silk organza with Alencon lace. She accessorized with a vintage style russian net veil. The finishing touch was an Anne Barge silk satin ribbon sash at the waist. She is a beautiful military bride! And the groom in his military whites? Simply dashing.

It is Wedding Wednesday -
Today we revisit a Connecticut wedding with beautiful images from Robert and Kathleen Photography.
The bride wore Anne Barge collection style Kelsey. This gown is designed with a sweetheart strapless neckline composed of a French Chantilly lace with details of a layered scalloped skirt.
We think the bride looks gorgeous! She is giddy with joy on her special day. What a fabulous moment to catch with her close friend…
The bride wore a custom Chantilly lace jacket which beautifully frames her classic upswept hairstyle. The addition of an embroidered belt at her waist adds a vintage touch to her ensemble. (Palmer Belt by Anne Barge).

It is Wedding Wednesday and the first week in June. We therefore wanted to feature a cheerful sunny wedding which was just perfect for SUMMER!!
Grand Hotel - Mackinac Island, Michigan
The couple was married at the beautiful and stately Grand Hotel on dreamy Mackinac Island in Michigan. The bride looked beautiful in one of our La Fleur collection gowns with pin tuck details and pockets. The wedding overall had a perfectly preppy element to the details.
We love the color scheme chosen by the couple for their Summer wedding. Sunny and cheerful Yellow with classic and elegant Navy. We adore the Mother of the Bride’s dress with its striping! And the bride’s “something blue” continued the Navy element with her sassy beribboned pumps.
LOVE the yellow stripe!
Plus the gentlemen in the wedding are ready for Summer in their attire: Seersucker for the ring bearer and Khaki suits for the Groom and Groomsmen!
