I wanted to share a few photos from Atlanta Weddings Magazine. This photo shoot captures the inspiration behind these Anne Barge gowns perfectly! Great Gatsby inspired silhouettes decorated and accented with Nicholas Kneil’s artistic touch. These photos are delightfully swoon-worthy!

Today is a dress that is sweet, simple, and absolutely stunning. Sussex is the perfect destination wedding dress! She is flirty yet sophisticated with her sheath silhouette of lush silk fabrics that drape perfectly. I can see her dancing at the beach for a romantic destination wedding or waltzing down the aisle in a colorful garden under a canopy of trees. I love her pleated bodice detail but, her best feature is her low v back neckline and the feather flower adds that special hint of surprise! Enjoy your Friday!!!

I just love the details a ballerina and a bride share… both command an audience and take center stage ever so gracefully. A little girl dreams of twirling in her wedding gown just like she pirouettes under the spotlight in her tutu at her first ballet recital. The significance¬†of a bridal party is just like the corps to the lead soloist in Balanchine’s version of Swan Lake. The fabrics used in costuming and bridal wear are similar with the use of luxuriously draped tulles and silks adorned with pearls and rhinestones. Many times a bride will wear her hair in a low chignon just as a ballerina pins her hair back in a perfect bun.¬†A bride is given a bouquet of sweet flowers to carry with her down the aisle just as a ballerina is given roses for an exquisite performance. This color palette is sweet and sophisticated with keeping true to this bridal inspiration. I just loved the similarities and couldn’t help but share some inspiring pictures with you!

Happy Friday! It has been a busy week at Anne Barge as we prepare for our Sample Sale this weekend in Atlanta! We are so excited to have dresses, shoes, veils, belts, and many more accessories available starting at 90% off! Stop by and take advantage of this amazing opportunity Saturday and Sunday from 9-6 at the Hotel Intercontinental in Buckhead!

and now… onto our Friday’s Featured Dress! This week I wanted to illustrate how a bride is able to make her wedding (and dress) custom to her. All she needs is a little bit of creativity and inspiration… and that’s what we’re here for! Since everyone loved last week’s FFD, I decided to show you another option to accompany that fabulous Chatham skirt. Today, we are featuring Talbot. She is cute, flirty, and sassy all buttoned into one, and like Chatham’s short lace dress- she too is cocktail length! Talbot has a sheer built-up neckline over a sweetheart silk lining with delicate Alencon lace that is perfectly placed to create a sweet and sophisticated dress. I can just see sweet pink peonies and lace gloves to accent this accomplished bride to fashion an exquisite shabby chic wedding! Please contact any of our retailers or email to try on this sweet symphony of couture bridal!

We all love options and customization… so why not take Talbot and add the Chatham taffeta ballgown skirt for the ceremony! Who knew that your dress itself could be your best wedding accessory?

Happy August! With it being the first Friday of August, we thought today’s featured dress should be an extra special treat! Today’s gown has a special surprise for you, meet style Chatham. She is from the latest Anne Barge collection, and a true beauty. I cannot think of a better way to describe her than elegant modern couture. Her luxurious silk taffeta ballgown skirt and chapel length train will take any guests breath away. The details are flawless, from her perfectly placed sweetheart neckline to the couture bow to finish off her skirt. She defines a new way to wear lace with her Pearl Guipure Lace underdress. Yes! I said underdress… Chatham has a short cocktail dress under her sumtuous skirt- two dresses in one! You can wear the short dress for the reception, or to surprise your guests for a grand exit as a new Mrs! I can just picture the swoon worthy veil, and delicate roses to accompany this bride in all of her opulent elegance. We even included a few pictures from one of our real brides wearing Chatham for you to enjoy!

Chatham can be found on trunk shows and in select Anne Barge retailers. For additional info and pricing, contact us at
