It was her first time ever to walk down the red carpet at the Oscars, but you would never have known that. Mila Jovanovic looked amazing in a white beaded Elie Sabb gown. While the fabric and beading the gown was made of were gorgeous, the highlight of her gown was the asymmetrical off the shoulder sleeve. We found an Anne Barge gown that has that same stunning detail, and even more stunning beading. The only drastic change we made was a more voluminous skirt for your walk down the aisle. Add a 1920′s Hollywood hair-do, red lips and simple diamond drop earrings and you are a movie star bride.
Last night was an amazing night for fashion and Hollywood. This was one of the best years as far as red carpet fashions go. Stars ventured out of the safe black gown zone and entered the jewel tones. Burnt orange, blue, emerald green and red graced the carpet. I loved all the color, and found it super refreshing. Here are some favs in the color category…
Another jaw-dropping trend on the carpet was amazing metallics. After all, if you want to take home a little gold man why not dress to match?
The third trend, which I also loved, was the white trend. While others disagreed with me last night, my number one best dressed was Gwyneth Paltrow. I thought she looked amazing in Tom Ford, and who doesn’t want to wear a cape at some point in their life!
Today’s featured dress is an absolute stunner named Jamieson. The amazing lace bodice is adorned with handmade beaded flowers that gracefully drape across the torso, and making the bodice even more flattering is the natural waist and sweetheart neckline. Who knew today was Margarita Day?!? I didn’t know until Jimmy Buffett told me, and I am excited. Margaritas usually mean a good time in a laid back tropical local, and I could definitely go for that. Who wouldn’t? Some brides even choose to make that laid-back beach margarita mindset the theme of their weddings. Might we suggest an Anne Barge gown to go along with that?

Today’s dress is again from our newest collection, and she is a whimsical dream come true. Made of soft organza, Ansley, is a dreamy and soft bridal option. She has a gorgeous ruched bodice that ends at the natural waist. The full skirt is then bustled once all the way around the dress. The piece de la resistance? The back, under the back bustle is a gorgeous collection of fabric flowers. When you pull all those details together you get pure romance. Who wouldn’t feel a gorgeous light glow around them the entire time they wore this number?
